Eric Ncube

A native of Zimbabwe, Eric Ncube is a knowledgeable and talented ambassador for the country he calls home. Eric grew up between the vibrant mining town of Hwange and the rural tranquility of Tsholotsho, located next to Hwange National Park. After completing primary and secondary schools, he ventured to South Africa for four years, where he honed skills in various roles in the hospitality industry and beyond, working as a server, bartender, and security guard. “The call of home and the exciting news of Imvelo opening Camelthorn Lodge in Ngamo drew me back [to Zimbabwe],” says Eric. Starting as an apprentice, he worked to earn his driver's and guide's licenses in 2016. Today, he's a member of the Zimbabwe Professional Guides Association, and is “eager to share the wonders of this region with others!” he says.
